Afro Urban Contemporary
Give us an A for Afro! Give us a U for Urban! And give us a C for Contemporary!
Don’t like staying in one place? Do you like to switch from one rhythm to another? Not afraid of closing your eyes and let the movement take control? Then Chakamadesu is just right for you. This expressive African Urban Contemporary dance style is all about fluidity, flow, trance and jerky movements. But most of all it is about relationships: with the ground, the space and the people around you. The idea is to not copy what others do, but to be yourself completely, so that at the end of the class, everyone comes out of the room with their own personal CHAKA AUC CODE or style.
