This physical and playful workshop unites two styles: contemporary dance and traditional Slovak dance. At first glance, these may not seem to have much in common, but they are actually related: both contain a lot of walking, running, spiralling and grounding.
In this workshop, you build up movements little by little with these different elements, which eventually leads to a phrase. Typical of traditional Slovak music is that the whole body works, but the emphasis is on complex footwork and body percussion. All you need are sturdy dancing shoes and good stamina!
