Thursday evening

During the Open Dance Jams, Platform K invites anyone who wants to join in onto the dance floor for a free-form dance session, centred on improvisation, interaction and inclusion. The Open Dance Jams are accompanied by live music by multi-instrumentalist Michiel De Malssche, which channels the energy and sets the atmosphere.

Everyone is welcome, regardless of experience, background or (physical) abilities. You are free to join in, take breaks and rejoin whenever you like. We listen to one another, communicate verbally and non-verbally, and respect each other’s pace and personal space.

Platform K is an inclusive dance company for dancers with disabilities. We offer dancers with disabilities a contemporary dance training programme. Through dance training sessions with experienced dance coaches and artistic projects, Platform K prepares dancers for a career in the professional dance world.
