About
Out of the Toolbox is turning ten! What better way to celebrate than by doing what we’ve always done: sharing dance. Together. From beginning dancers to years of experience, young or old, with any body type. But above all with curiosity and enthusiasm!
This festive edition brings back familiar teachers, alongside new makers and performers. Dive into contact improvisation and creation, play with dance and music, or get a unique insight into the repertoires and working methods of Jan Martens, Rosas, Ultima Vez, les ballets C de la B or Peeping Tom, guided by dancers who know their work from the inside out.
Out of the Toolbox offers space to deepen, explore and develop your own dance language – together with others, to the rhythm of ten years of dancing joy. So come dance. Exclamation point!
For whom?
- Are you a professional dancer or is dance more of a hobby for you?
- Have you taken a lot of courses or are you only just discovering the world of dance?
The Out of the Toolbox programme is designed to provide various options to explore for everyone who is actively involved in dance, irrespective of their age or background. What is more, the teachers we choose are used to working with dancers of different ages and a range of levels and bodies. Their approach ensures that this diversity enriches the experience for all participants.

“I would like to thank you for the great experience I had dancing (and all other things around that) at OOTBox. I had the feeling that you have put a lot of care organizing the festival and everything: great facilities (nice location and studios), fantastic cooks, meeting colleagues and devoted teachers, and the best Danspunt team.
