Location

The meeting point is De Expeditie, Dok-Noord 4F in Ghent. There you will receive a warm welcome every morning, can you start your day with a coffee at the festival bar and find out which dance class your workshop will take place in.

You can reach Dok Noord by public transport in the following ways, amongst others:

  • There are various buses (including buses 5a, 5b, 6, 55 and 56) heading towards De Expeditie.
  • Tram: tram line 4 towards Muide / Lange Steenstraat, ‘Gent Neuseplein’ stop, a 2-minute walk away.
  • Train:
    • From Gent-Dampoort station, it is a 15-minute walk.
    • From Gent-Sint-Pieters station, take
      • Bus 55 towards Zelzate Bus Station – get off at ‘Gent Heilig-Kerst’, a 3-minute walk away.
      • Tram line 4 towards Muide / Lange Steenstraat – get off at ‘Gent Neuseplein’, a 2-minute walk.

! Check the De Lijn or NMBS app for the latest timetables, changes due to engineering works, etc.

There is plenty of space to park your bike around De Expeditie. You can also hire a bike via Blue Bikes (SNCB), Donkey Republic (app), Dott (app) and the bike embassy at Gent-Dampoort Station.

Coming by car?

  • Traffic circulation around Dok-Noord was changed in the summer of 2025, so be sure to check Google Maps before you leave. Paid parking is available in the underground parking at Dok-Noord.
  • To improve air quality, Ghent’s inner city (the area within the ring road R40) is a low-emission zone. Only vehicles that meet the conditions for admission are allowed into this zone. Do you want to know whether your car can enter the LEZ? Fill in the test on www.lez2020.gent.
