Danspunt uses the principle of Pay what you can. You choose how much you pay: the suggested contribution, the support rate or the reduction rate.
In this outdoor workshop, you will explore movement together with trees, people and gravity. Each tree invites a different dance: balancing against a thin trunk, leaning and letting go against a sturdy tree, hanging, sliding or making your way between low branches. You move solo, with others and with the trees, inspired by principles from contact improvisation such as weight sharing, balance, pushing and pulling.
The workshop feels like a joint journey of discovery. You listen to the place, take small risks and let curiosity determine the rhythm. Play and attention go hand in hand and grow into a collective dance, shaped by the landscape itself rather than by fixed choreography. Anyone who feels like moving outdoors is welcome.
Teacher
Orsi Vagner explores movement in public and natural spaces. As co-founder of Kaland Budapest, she develops playful, experimental formats that allow adults to play again with their bodies, their environment and connection. Her practice includes parkour, playground disco, stick techniques and dancing with trees. Together with her colleague Barbi, she leads Expedition Dance, which combines contemporary dance tools with circus, theatre and childlike wonder. Their workshops broaden how participants experience space, movement and nature.
Accessibility
- The workshop is physically demanding, but adaptable to your own abilities.
- The workshop is not accessible to wheelchair users.
