Movement with meaning
Integrated Dance Theatre Practice is a physical and playful workshop that combines dance technique, improvisation, acting and composition. By training both your body and your imagination, you can become a more expressive dancer and performer.
You will refine your technique with a focus on musicality and dynamics. Through improvisation, you will sharpen your responsiveness, increase your creativity and learn to make conscious choices in the moment. Acting exercises will help you to clarify emotions, move with intention and tell stories. In this way, movement connects with meaning.
In composition exercises Baker challenges you to experiment with time, space, structure and collaboration. You will learn how to build rough ideas into a strong scene. Expect an intensive but playful approach that deepens your understanding and motivation.
