Listening, touching and moving together in space
In Play Full Body, you will explore with Laura Aris how dance and ideas arise in the moment. For her, movement does not consist only of pre-set forms, but is something that grows through attention, making choices, and connecting with others in real time.
During the workshop, you will alternate between solo, duo, and group work, with improvisation and composition as guiding principles. Aris’ approach is rooted in contemporary dance technique and sharpens body awareness, performativity, and clarity. You relate to others by listening, touching, and moving together in space. From this interaction and shared attention, composition emerges. This physical practice invites you to share power and responsibility. You learn to feel, negotiate, and direct energy rather than hold onto it.
It is important to note that the workshop is conducted in English and requires a basic level of fitness. You will come close to others and make physical contact.
