The classically trained dancer Mélanie Lomoff will give you an insight into her creative methods. While her work is often permeated by her classical background, she also devotes attention to many other dance styles, influences and working methods. As in her show ‘Three Studies of Flesh (for a female)’, in this workshop she takes the anatomy of the human body and makes it the starting point for activating the theatricality of your body. Which makes a wonderful new artistic approach to your dance technique!

Mélanie studied ballet at the Conservatoire National Supérieure de Danse de Paris. She performed around the world for 10 years with the Montalvo/Hervieu company. Since 2006 she has worked with les ballets C de la B (Alain Platel; Lisi Estaras) on a regular basis. In 2014 she moved to London and created her first full-length solo production ‘Three Studies of Flesh (for a woman)’ (2014), which received much critical acclaim. She continues to work on her own assignments and other projects around the world.
