What do you see if you turn your head? – Andrea Keiz

A simple question, many answers – and even more questions. Starting from the body and reflections on the ways in which we perceive, we will develop a playful journey through a landscape full of both well-known and new perspectives. Using a photo or video camera to frame will support our journey. In the morning we will start with awakening the senses. The afternoon will focus on translating sensorial experience into an image. No previous knowledge in video work or specific physical conditions are needed.

Andrea Keiz (DE) is a biologist and teacher of dance improvisation. Since 2000 she has worked as a freelance artist in the field of video documentation of performing arts. Besides filming and editing, she advises students in documentation, camera work and archiving in several dance programs in Germany as well as offering workshops in video/dance and perception.
